...1/2 Marathon...we did it!...

(picture is taken just as I passed the finish line...my legs were dying...)Well, we did it! My brother Matthew and I finished the 1/2 Marathon at Disneyland...it was so fun! I never thought I would say that about running, but Disneyland sure did it right. Matthew finished way before me...so he was waiting for me at the end and actually ran through the finish line with me....We arrived at Disneyland at 4:30 a.m. with my friends Brenna, Emily (Brenna's sister-in-law), Debbie, and Brenna's Aunt. It was a cool 84 degrees and we were all a little nervous...but we all finished and Emily actually won first in her age group...WOW! Way to go Emily! There were over 15,000 people running and after I finished a bunch of people said they were there too...how fun! We got to run through Disneyland, California Adventure, and Angels Stadium...when you ran over home plate they stated where you lived...what a fun time...thanks Doug for all the encouragement and help!
