DOUG

We were cleaning up and I found something I wrote back in 1995! WOW does that seem like a long time ago....anyways, I wrote the Qualities I wanted in my future husband in a Young Womens Class at church....as I read them they described Doug (although he even has WAY more qualities not on this list that I adore)....I feel so blessed to be married to such an amazing guy!

Here is my list....
Honors the Priesthood
Happy
Sense of humor
loves the church
has a great understanding of the church
is a gentleman (opens the door for me, etc...)
someone who can trust in me, and vice versa
return missionary
listens
very caring
knows me, and knows how I feel
compassionate
loves kids
can cook
will help with housework
will support me
loves my family
loves his family
can express his feelings
someone who brings me up
someone with good self-esteem
appreciates me, and the things I do
***lucky for me he is HOT too....that was a close call...because it wasn't on the list***

I remember making that same list and I remember finding it after I married Jason and I felt the same way. He was everything on my list!

I agree about everything on that list except for the cooking part. I remember he mixed cream of mushroom and creamed corn together for our meal one night! There was another time we decided to cook a great breakfast well it was good (I was Jesse Flames and he was Billy the Grid) but we walked into the 8 o'clock class we had together late and only then realized we reeked of Bacon and Eggs.
