Best Birthday ever!

Evan had a GREAT birthday this year....we planned a little party on friday night with some of his little friends....Here we are getting ready for the party....the kids could not wait....

We had about 8 kids for the festivities....they had a blast....we invited our favorite babysitter and her boyfriend and my good friend Keily came to hang out and help....my cousin surprised us and drove in for the weekend....just in time to join the party!

The kids tried hard to break the pinata but just couldn't....so, I gave it a good hit and the candy and toys fell....the kids loved it....I on the other hand found 1/2 eaten candy around the house the rest of the weekend....Nikki brought some fireman hats....the kids loved it! blowing out the candles.....
Doug came home early from his Vegas trip to celebrate Evan's big day....We started the day off with waking Evan up and serving him breakfast in bed....(Audrey had to eat with Evan in his bed....)

Then our dear friends from California surprised Evan and us with tickets to the White Sox vs. Orioles game....they even got us field passes (they are great friends with the pitcher of the Orioles)....so we were on the field watching them stretch and practice before the game....it really was amazing to see them that close and watch them hit those balls so perfect they seriously make it look so easy....These boys were like this most of the time....I was just trying to keep Audrey contained....I finally found something that sparked her interest....a microphone....she loved talking into it...
My cousin was able to come with us too!
and the highlight....getting a ball signed and a picture with the pitcher....Evan was captivated by the fact that you could get paid to play baseball....I could see those wheels turning in his head..

We had a great day...the kids both came home and crashed....they were exhausted from such a long day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVAN! We love you!
