Doug flew with the kids to Seattle so I could have a little trip of my own...the first day I was there I started walking around Central Park and it started to pour....of course I did not have an umbrella....so I ran into the nearest subway and took it to the nearest shopping district....later that day I met up with my friend in Times Square...it was still raining and I still did not have an umbrella...we were laughing so hard....we had to take a picture (notice everyone else has an umbrella)! I was soaking wet!
Next day was shopping in Soho...what a fun little area....we must have walked about 10 miles this day! Jen was such a great sport to walk everywhere with me!
After shopping we went to eat at the best pizza place in Brooklyn! Jen even waited 1 1/2 hours with me to let me taste the pizza...it was well worth the wait! Then we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge at night...it was AMAZING!
We had to stop by Rockefeller Center and Tiffany's....I just love that Tiffany's for so many reasons...but, one of which is the store is 5 floors....of course it was raining that day too! Of course I was prepared with my flip flops!
My last night there we ate dinner at the Meat Packing district....we went to this great Thai place...it was so delicious....and so fun to be in that area!I can't wait to go back to New York...hopefully next time Doug will be able to join me! It was a GREAT trip and Jen was an amazing hostess! Thanks for a great time Jen!
