Tonight was one of those nights I am so happy to be a Mom....
Evan was having a hard time sleeping, so I laid in his bed and we talked for a 1/2 hour about moving to Las Vegas...what he liked, what he didn't like...and then we talked about him when he was a little boy and all the funny things he would do...he would laugh out loud...it was the cutest thing...about 1 minute after I left his room he was fast asleep....I guess he just needed to talk...I love that little boy!
About an hour later Audrey woke up and walked into my room where I was working on a pile of things that need to get done tonight and wanted me to hold her. I brought her in her room and held her for awhile then laid her down on her bed and she said "Cuddle with me?"...how could I resist? Homework, bills, Doug's practice stuff can all wait...I just love little moments like this...how I will miss cuddling with my little girl when she is grown...

these are the moments that make being a mom soo worth it! i love it when Luke just wants to talk and tell me what's on his mind.
