I just barely started feeling "my new normal" when my world fell apart. My sister passed away on March 6, 2011 leaving behind 5 beautiful children and a loving husband. I am devasted....
It was fitting that I drove down the day of her horrific accident, a thursday, and was able to stay by her bed for the next 5 days....(she was declared brain dead on sunday at 8pm and then they did not take her away until about 4am tuesday morning)....I will miss you Kim. We became so close since Olivia's passing...every thursday I would receive a letter from her...reminding me that she hasn't forgotten about Olivia....and that she is mindful of me....and now I can do the same thing for her....Kimberly, I will never forget...thursdays are your day.
I love you...

Hymn #129
Heather--so sorry to hear of your losses. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please read "The Message" by Lance Richardson. He is LDS and had some incredible experiences as he was in a medically induced coma. The part that made me think of you and yours was where he talks about how some people can have much more of an influence on us here from the other side than they could if they stayed here. Your little Olivia and your sister must be some choice spirits.
Keep your head up. You are so loved.
I found Kim's blog a few days ago and was reading through... and there was her poem for Olivia. I haven't stopped thinking about all of you, but also about her own thoughts on leaving this life too early. I hope the reminder isn't more painful, and I'm sure that it hasn't left your memory... but if you haven't read it lately...
Big hugs coming your way tomorrow sweet friend.
Heather, so sorry for your loss. You and Kim's family are in our prayers. Sending you lots of love and hope.
Heather I don't even know what to say but that I am so sorry. She must have been a very choice spirit to leave this earth. We will be praying for you and your family.
