...We know how to party...

We sure do know how to party...yesterday we did tons! So much that Evan ended up taking a 4 hour nap today...It started out with a surprise breakfast in bed for Evan...he LOVED it and was laughing and smiling...he thought it was so cool...we woke him up at 6:15 a.m. with food and singing (I let Doug do the singing...I am much better at cooking than singing)

We let him open a few presents in bed and then he came out to the living room where we had a bike for him...he LOVED it...we got dressed and we delivered presents to two kids who share Evan's birthday...it was fun...then we picked up his cousins Sydney and Ethan and went to the fire station with Brenna, Madyson, and Macy...it was so fun! The fireman were so cool to them...then we went to Chick-fil-A...so they could play and eat....we came home got things ready for the party, picked up the food and went to the "pirate park" and had a pirate birthday party...my brother Josh from D.C and his family flew in that day, so they were able to come...along with my brother Matthew (his wife couldn't make it)...Dan (Doug's brother) even left school early and drove from LA to celebrate with us! it was a great party with great food and GREAT company...

We came home and the Vickings (aka Kim's kids) spent the night here and Evan finally went to sleep around 11p.m....talk about a fun filled day! Those are my kind of days...just pack it all in! Evan was darling and so happy...I will post pictures early next week...thanks for all the birthday wishes!
