Turkey Trot!
We did the annual Turkey Trot in Chicago! It was so much fun...not too cold (it was in the low 40s!) Here is the team....we took turns pushing the stroller with the kids...Evan was our couch...and Audrey slept the whole race!
This is our view from the back of the pack....since we had a stroller we had to start behind everyone....this made it difficult as we raced past everyone!
Here we are at the finish line (Debbie ran ahead to take some pictures)....you can see the stroller...it was such a great feeling to run an 8K with the kids...they were perfect! Our time: 48 minutes....that's a little over 9 minutes a mile...we were the 1831, 1868, and 1869 people to cross the finish line...for starting in the back...that means we passed over 2,000 people....
So, since the race ended at Lincoln Park zoo....we went over and walked around with the kids....
Evan loved being so close to this lion...the lion was roaring at us....Evan thought it was so funny...

I found a great new blog! Love it!
What a fun Thanksgiving! We wish you guys could have been with us!! But it looks like the kids had a good time!
Wow way to go finishing the turkey run. I am impressed with how you finished and so impressed your kids were so dang good. There is no way Hannah would have done that. Did you have to use any hand cuffs?!
