Here Evan is flying the plane....well, not really, but you can imagine how important he felt that the pilot let him sit in his seat!
At our hotel Doug had to work a lot...so, Audrey grabbed the key board and sat on the bed next to Doug...she LOVED hanging out with her Dad...
Here we are at Opportunity Knocks Winter thing....(I can't remember what it is called...but it is AMAZING) we were able to talk with santa...although, Audrey didn't enjoy it so much...Evan LOVED it...and you can bet he told Santa what he wanted...want to know..."a Lego Rescue Helicopter" he has been talking about this for a couple of months....and even did a google search for it, printed it...and carries it around in his green folder....i guess just to make sure we know what he wants....fine with me...makes it easy!
Ali, the kids, and my parents came in for the weekend and we went over to Towne Square...it is an amazing outdoor mall...I LOVED it...we found these Easels there and started drawing...it was really fun for the kids...
Here is his finished artwork...he drew a really good sherrif car...don't you love how is N is all wrong....i've tried to teach him...but secretly kind of like the way it looks...
We were able to visit this beautiful lady...can you believe she is over 90 and just got out of the hospital??? She always looks amazing...it was really fun to spend just a short time with her...we love you GIGI!
As we were battling getting on the plane...Doug had a 1/2 hour meeting 2 hours before our flight took off...which, would not have been a problem, except it took us over an hour to return the car...so, we had to run to catch our plane...we seriously got to the plane as people were boarding...this really sweet guy wanted to take our picture....both kids prior to this were crying and upset...he told us we should cherish these moments while they are young because they grow up so fast (he said this with tears in his eyes)...it was touching...I agree...I try to cherish every moment...I am so glad I can stay home....we always have a good time!
